Turf Drain Australia were the successful tenderer’s in the race track slit drainage works required at Murrumbidgee Turf Club.

There was a considerable amount of works to be completed and a very limited window of opportunity. These works commenced, as scheduled, on 9th January 2014 and were completed 5 days ahead of schedule on 10th February 2014.

Work Involved

  • Slit Drainage – A total of 24,780lm x 50mm agricultural pipe/gravel/sand slit drainage @ 3m spacings, plus a mainline consisting of 1100m x 100mm agricultural pipe/gravel/sand in the course proper and chutes.
  • Sand Grooving – 64,250m2
  • Top Dressing – course proper – 900t
